Probably your hairdryer either has a low watt level, needs to be cleaned (the back part should unscrew to allow you to clean it with a vacuum) or is burnt out. Right now I have the Conair Ion Shine 1875 which comes with attachments. It's great. Conair is usually the best and not expensive. I got mine at linens and things awhile ago.
