No Labor Day* Weekend

Although it signifies the end of summer, I'm looking forward to the holiday weekend. I have a wedding to attend, and since I went to middle school, high school, and college with the groom, many old friends will be coming to town for the festivities.
And, just because it's Friday, I decided to share two of my guilty pleasures with you:
1. Corn nuts. Crunchy goodness!
2. Duets. I harbor a strong, secret love for duets. Here's one of my favorites:
Leather and Lace, Stevie Nicks and Don Henley

*When I was a kid, the name Labor Day irked me. I mean, the whole point of Labor Day is that nobody works, right? So, it should be called No Labor Day. Or Labor-free Day.

What are corn nuts? I've never heard of them. Are they some funny Framingham food?

Funny story about duets: Sometimes the baby likes to listen to Magic 106.7, and they frequently play this duet "Cruisin", which is pretty good. Every time I hear it, I think to myself, "That sounds a lot like Huey Lewis". Guess what? It's f-ing Huey Lewis! Anyway, another quality duet.

Regarding Magic 106.7, if you've never listened before, you only need to give it about 6 hours. They only play that much unique music, so in 6 hours you'll hear every song that they play.

Turns out Huey Lewis is in a movie called "Duets" with Gwenyth Paltrow. It's about karaoke and it's definitely in my netflix queue.
